Jamie and Lynne Spears arrived at L.A. Superior Court Friday afternoon.

TMZ.com reports that they are there to try to create a conservatorship, which would allow them to make medical decisions on behalf of their daughter as well as control her finances.

Surrounded by lawyers — including their attorney Blair Berk — Lynne wore a white jacket; father Jamie text messaged.

There is no sign of Sam Lutfi or Adnan Ghalib.

The hearing underscores the growing tension between the Spears family and Lutfi, who has acted as the primary liaison between the singer and her doctors.

In a telephone interview with Us Thursday, Lutfi blasted the Spears' parents.

“Oh boy, her family is crazy!” he said. "It’s just so sad."

He told Us that the singer doesn’t “trust anything that her family says. Not a g----n thing.”

The hearing is set to begin at 1:30 PST.

After orchestrating Spears' latest hospitalization, Spears' parents spent the entire day with her Thursday. Lutfi popped by to bring her a meal from In-N-Out Burger.
